SoWa Christmas Market Sales Associate
We’re excited to return for our fifth year at the SoWa Christmas Market and I am looking for two or three enthusiastic Sales Associates to join the team and help make our booth a success!
Available Shifts:
Tuesday - Thursday: 3:30pm-9pm
Friday: 3:30pm-10pm
Saturdays:
Day Shift: 9:30am-4pm
Evening Shift: 4pm-10pm
Sundays:
Day Shift: 9:30am-2pm
Evening Shift: 2pm-7pm
(There is some variation in hours in the days prior to Thanksgiving and on Black Friday, and Christmas Eve. The market is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.)
Responsibilities:
- Replenish and prep the booth for opening and closing
- Process sales using the Shopify POS system (training will be provided).
- Greet and engage customers, providing product recommendations and answering inquiries.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing booth, ensuring products are well-stocked.
- Solo-manage the booth during your shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Availability to work consistent shifts November 20 - December 27
- Friendly, high-energy, and detail-oriented multitasker.
- Ability to troubleshoot and handle unexpected issues.
- Comfortable working independently and managing the booth solo.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs, stand or sit for extended periods, and handle the moderate physical demands of the role.
- Reliable transportation to the SoWa Power Station at 550 Harrison Ave, Boston (car or public transportation).
Compensation:
- $22.00 per hour
